HTC Diamond
Most people probably have seen this by now, but if you haven’t, i’ll tell you about it. Sprint has finally gotten a new HTC phone other than the Touch, and it is called the Diamond. It has some beastly hardware specs including a 528 Mhz processor, 256 MB of RAM (4x the Mogul’s memory!), 4GB of internal storage, Wifi, 256 MB of ROM, EV-D0 Rev A, and the best part in my opinion, a VGA display. Web browsing on this device is going to be pretty awesome, and also remote desktop will look great. The Sprint version of the phone also includes a 1350 mAh battery compared to the GSM versions 900 mAh. The only downside to that is the extra 3mm of thickness because of a larger battery cover.
At the moment the phone is only available through Telesales and Online, but it should be in Sprint Corporate stores around the 28th. It is selling for $249.99 with a two year contract and after a $100 mail in rebate. My sprint contract just expired this month so this is a very tempting phone…Although people over at XDA forums are working on bringing the touch flo interface to other phones, I have it on my Mogul right now but it is a bit buggy and kind of a memory hog unfortunatly especially since my Mogul only has about 24 MB of RAM available at startup.
