HTC Mogul

Some people have noted that the amount of available memory on their Mogul decreases during the period of the day. I have a little program that will help with that. Also this may be the last post for the next week because I am going to help out at a summer camp.

Many people suspect that some sort of program cache that HTC puts on its phones is the culprit for the HTC Mogul memory leak. I really don’t know what it is but this little program does seem to help. It will typically free up 1 meg of ram, but I have had it free up 9 megs once, but I haven’t been able to duplicate that. The program is called Oxios Memory. Once you install the cab file, you just run the program when you feel you need some more memory and it will pop up a little dialogue saying how much memory was freed.
